Party system will allow for characters to join and leave the party at will. The party system also acts as the tie between the Overworld System and the Battle system.

  • Ability to have multiple party members
  • Party members can leave and rejoin
  • Party members have stats
  • Some stats are deterministic, like Strength, Defense, etc.
  • Some stats are levelled up over time, or can be affected in game by other mechanics, like Max HP
  • Some stats are varying, like HP
  • Some stats are retained even if a party member isn't actively in the party, e.g. Experience gained is retained across the entire game's progress
  • Party members may have equipment (TBC)
  • Party members may have position (forward/back) (TBC)
  • Party members can be rearranged and organized (TBC)
  • Party members are brought into battle system upon request, all stats in battle system directly affect party system
  • By this logic, foes will also have their own party system
  • And by that logic, parties can be created and destroyed at whim by the engine
  • Party members need distinguishing with names, icons, and perhaps more (TBC)
